MN Pharmaceuticals has signed the UN Global Compact

MN Pharmaceuticals, by signing the UN Global Compact, has committed that it will support the 10 universally accepted principles and will include these principles among its basic practices.

The UN Global Compact is a strategic policy initiative for businesses that are committed to aligning their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. By doing so, business, as a primary driver of globalization, can help ensure that markets, commerce, technology and finance advance in ways that benefit economies and societies everywhere. With over 8700 corporate participants and other stakeholders from over 130 countries, it is the largest voluntary corporate responsibility initiative in the world.

The United Nations Global Compact which has published 10 basic principles and has invited private sector, work power, civil rights organizations and government authorities to act in the light of these principles in order to reach a better position in the fight for human rights, labour rights, protection of environment and fight against corruption was signed by 33 pharmaceutical companies in Turkey.

A company that has signed the UNGC has committed that it shares the belief that the global practices based on the universally principles support to develop a more stable, just and comprehensive global market. UNGC has 84 participants from the pharmaceutical industry worldwide.

UNGC expects the companies to fullfill their obligations and to prepare their 'Communication on Progress' recorded during practicing these 10 principles in their respective fields in a clear way that can be shared with everyone.
