"Environment Development" Award to MN Pharmaceuticals from Kocaeli Chamber of Industry

MN Pharmaceuticals' Sekerpınar Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient Plant has won the 'Environment Development Award' in 'Kocaeli Chamber of Industry Sehabettin Bilgisu Environment Awards' contest that has been held since 1995. MN Pharmaceuticals' award was given by Gokhan Sozer, the Mayor of Kocaeli, in a ceremony where Nihat Ergun, Ministry of Industry and Commerce was also present. In Kocaeli, where the majority of Turkish production industry is housed, 2 plants were found worthy for this award.

June 25, 2009, Istanbul. MN Pharmaceuticals, a company which has been producing according to the latest and environment-friendly techniques ın all its plants, has endorsed a new achievement. MN Pharmaceuticals' Sekerpınar Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient Plant has won the 'Environment Development Award' in 'Kocaeli Chamber of Industry Sehabettin Bilgisu Environment Awards' contest that has been held since 1995.

The award was presented to Halit Gunduz, Director of MN Pharmaceuticals' Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient Plant, by Gokhan Sozer, the Mayor of Kocaeli, in a ceremony where Nihat Ergun, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce was also present. Sozer congratulated MN Pharmaceuticals for being environment-friendly.

Halit Gunduz, Director of MN Pharmaceuticals' Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient Plant, emphasized that they have been performing production according to the highest standards and with the latest technologies and continued as follows:

"MN Pharmaceuticals has always been conscious of the industry's responsibilities in performing its activities while protecting the environment and preserving the natural resources and has conducted its own activities accordingly. This award that is given in return for our efforts has motivated us. We thank Kocaeli Chamber of Industry for this. We will continue our work according to the international standards and latest technologies."

World standard production quality is approved

MN Pharmaceuticals who has its production quality approved by the FDA inspection conducted in 2006 and thus, has won the permission to export products to USA, has strengthened this high standard by obtaining the approvals of European authorities who have concurrently inspected the company. Halit Gunduz, Director of MN Pharmaceuticals' Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient Plant, stated that MN Pharmaceuticals' highest level quality standards that have been accepted world-wide are also valid for its works concerning the environment and continued as follows:

"With our waste water treatment systems, chimney gas treatment systems, solid waste elimination applications covering a 5000 sq.m area and environment development investments over 4 million US dollars, we have been performing our production with an environment-friendly approach.
